Details: Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia is pleased to announce a special addition to your corporate or faith-based work/construction building days at the Maple Ridge Condominium in Fairfax, VA. Teams are invited to learn to improve communications and self-awareness, and better manage change, conflict, time and stress.
Facilitator: Leading the workshop is Dr. Alice Waagen, president of Workforce Learning, LLC (http://www.workforcelearning.com), who sits on Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia’s Board of Directors.
Background: Alice has conducted similar workshops at dozens of professional conferences, including the Training Director’s Forum, the Chancellor’s Conference on Civilian Education at the Department of Defense, and the Training Officers’ Conference. She has also worked with hundreds of staff, managers, and executives at some of the world’s largest Fortune 500 firms. Her work has given her insight into a wide range of industries including computer software, financial services, printing and advertising, government, consumer services, and the nonprofit sector.
