About Alice Waagen

I work to ensure organizations are healthy from the top down, and ultimately if an organization has happy, energized, engaged employees they find it reflected in the bottom line. My clients are Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies in the Washington, DC area. My specialty does not lie in a particular industry. My expertise is in knowing what behaviors and actions yield success for business leaders, managers and teams. I passionately believe in what I do and am constantly inspired by my clients and the missions that they serve. My personal mission is to make every engagement produce tangible value for my clients in helping them discover better, faster and more efficient ways to achieve their goals and objectives. I also believe in using my skills and knowledge to give back to my community. I happily serve as a volunteer videoconference docent for the Smithsonian American Art Museum and in that capacity bring the joy of art appreciation to children and adults nationwide.
Dr. Waagen earned a BS in education from the New York State College at Buffalo, and MS and PhD degrees in education from the Pennsylvania State University. Giving back to the community is also important to Alice. She is an active supporter of Habitat for Humanity, Northern VA as well as serves on the Advisory Board for Marymount University, Reston Campus. Alice also is a videoconference instructor for the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
